"Way quicker than I thought it would be"
I called citi today fully expecting to lose half my afternoon sitting on hold, but it actually went way faster than I had in my head.

I think I waited maybe 3 or 4 minutes, and when someone picked up, they were calm and didn’t make me feel rushed. Which was nice. Like, suspiciously nice for a bank call. Anyway, crisis avoided.

I’ve had some awful wait times with other banks, so this felt easy. Not some life-changing moment or anything, just glad my lunch break didn’t disappear into hold music

I made a payment yesterday and it showed up today, so that part was quick and I can’t really complain there. No major issues so far, but if payments ever start taking too long or get messy, I’d probably look for another option...

I’ve found Citi.com easy to use overall. I can get to my cards, make payments, and view statements without having to click around forever. A few pages can be a little slow to load sometimes, but the layout is clear and I don’t feel lost while using it. that makes a big difference for me because banking stuff can be stressful, and it’s a relief when the site just makes things simple...

"Super easy to keep tabs on my credit limit"
I mostly use Citi to keep an eye on my credit limit, and it’s been ridiculously easy. I requested an increase once and got an answer fast, with no confusing hoops to jump through. I also really like that I can see my available credit right away after making payments. It’s a simple site, but it does exactly what I need without making me want to pull my hair out.

I use Citi regularly, and for the most part it seems okay. I don’t know, I still feel a little uneasy about how much of my data they might be keeping or sharing. The privacy settings aren’t exactly the clearest either, at least to me. Overall, it’s fine, but I can’t say I fully trust it.

I do appreciate that citi takes security seriously and keeps my account protected. That said, the login checks can get a little annoying at times, especially when it feels like something that could be preventable with a smoother system. I had a frustrating time trying to log into my Citi account and, the whole process felt a bit more annoying than it needed to be. I ended up resetting my info and had to try a few times before it finally worked. It wasn’t the smoothest experience, but the tone of the process didn’t feel dismissive or anything, just a little clunky. In the end, I got back in and I’m happy it’s fixed now.

I used citi.com to redeem my ThankYou points for gift cards, it was painless. I logged in, picked what I wanted—well, I guess I browsed for a minute first, and then got the confirmation right away. No weird extra steps, no waiting around. It was actually easier than I expected

I had to file a chargeback for an order that never showed up, citi handled it better than I expected. The online process was straightforward, which was a nice surprise for a bank website, and they actually kept me updated along the way. I got my money back faster than I thought I would. I mostly use citi.com to check my card statement, and it’s really easy to follow. The charges, dates, and payments are laid out clearly, so I don’t have to dig around much to figure out what’s what. Downloading the PDF is simple too. Really no major complaints from me...

"Branch visit was just okay"
I went into the Citi branch last week because I needed help with a card issue. The woman at the desk was friendly enough, so I don’t want to sound too harsh, but I still ended up waiting close to 30 minutes even though it didn’t really seem that busy.

They did fix the problem eventually, so maybe I’m being a little picky, but the whole visit just felt slower and less organized than I expected. It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t great either. I’d probably give it 3 stars.

"Helpful with my banking issue abroad, though I was a bit unsure at first"
I ran into an issue with my account while I was traveling overseas and had to contact Citi support. i wasn’t totally sure how good the help would be, especially from abroad, but they handled it better than I expected. The rep seemed to understand what I was explaining and didn’t make me go over the same details a bunch of times. My card started working again later that same day, which was a huge relief. I still wonder if it would always be that smooth, but this time the international support was solid.

"I had an issue with a card..."
I had an issue with a card charge, the first support person wasn’t able to get it sorted out. It was a little frustrating because I had to explain the situation more than once, and at that point I wasn’t feeling super confident.
Once it got escalated, though, the experience was noticeably better. The next rep seemed to understand the problem, followed up when they said they would, and kept things moving. It still took a couple of days, so it wasn’t instant, but it did get resolved.

I wouldn’t say it was a perfect customer service experience, but in this case, Citi did seem to take the issue seriously once it reached the right person. For this specific situation, I’d give them 4 stars.

Logging in has been smooth for me so far. The code usually comes through quickly, and I haven’t had to deal with much hassle. It’s a simple thing, but it makes the whole process feel a lot easier.
